I HAVE A RIGHT TO A TOILET!
In the picture you can see the toilet block at Kounoune Primary School.
This block is used by all pupils.
But there is no privacy.
The pupils keep to themselves when they have to go to the toilet.
This is not good for their health. It can lead to urination problems, especially for little girls.
That’s why we collected donations during our Senegal workshop in 2023 and were able to raise €3,474.25 to renovate the toilets!
Ousman Sow and his team have now started building the new toilets on a voluntary basis – here are a few impressions:
