Dear friends and supporters

We are Dadho and Sophie , two students from Berlin with a shared passion for sustainability and women’s empowerment.

Inspired by our roots and driven by a desire to give back, we are embarking on a mission to Westafrika, this February until April.

Our goal is to host workshops in schools that focus on women’s empowerment, menstrual health, and sustainable period care solutions.

The Challenge

In many schools across Dakar, young girls face significant hurdles due to the lack of access to affordable and sustainable menstrual products.

This often leads to missed school days—sometimes up to five days a month—stigma, and feelings of shame.

Such barriers not only affect their education but also their confidence and future opportunities.

Our Mission

We believe that every girl deserves the chance to pursue her education without unnecessary obstacles. Here’s what we plan to do:

  • Create Safe Spaces: Host interactive workshops where girls can openly discuss menstrual health and challenge societal misconceptions.
  • Inspire Empowerment: Share stories of inspiring female role models through engaging presentations to motivate and empower the girls.
  • Provide Sustainable Solutions: Distribute reusable fabric pads, offering an eco-friendly alternative to disposable products and ensuring long-term access to menstrual care.

Why We Need Your Support

To bring this project to life, we aim to raise 1,000 euros. Your donations will directly help us:

  • Purchase sustainable menstrual products for over 200 girls.

  • Develop engaging workshop materials to make learning interactive.

  • Cover transportation costs to reach multiple schools, including those in remote areas.

  • 10 euros can provide a set of reusable pads to one girl, keeping her in school all month long.

Stay Connected

We value transparency and community.

We’ll be sharing updates, photos, and stories from our journey so you can see the tangible difference your contribution makes.

Thank you
